Miles mean nothing

This is my second to last post in the "Getting to Know Me" series. Today, I'm going to introduce you to one of the people who has stuck by my side, through thick and thin, and who I call my closest friend.
I know what you're thinking, "Woah, who's the dude?!" That's my best friend, Sam. Sam befriended me my sophomore year of high school when I was going through a rough time. I went to a small private school so you knew everyone and had everyone's phone numbers so it wasn't uncommon to get a text asking for homework or whatnot. But that particular night he sent me this bible verse:
He said "I don't know what you're going through but God does and he's always right beside you." That night, I found a new friend and picked myself up off the floor. We've been there for each other after breakups, through bad relationships, and moving 9 hours away.
2 months before leaving for college, Sam got diagnosed with Epilepsy (a seizure disorder) and had to stay and go to WT for a year so he could have his medicine regulated. After his freshman year, he moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M. He is now 9 hours away from home (and me) yet he only comes home two or three times a year. Since he's never home, we skype, snapchat, and text a lot. Some weeks are busier than others so we may not talk as much, but without Sam I wouldn't be who I am or where I am today.

That's everything... For now! -- Kaitlyn
