Here is the long awaited last post about the last important person. I have had a hard time putting this post into words because I have so much to say... But here it is in the best way I can say it. Here is the last person that is important, but he is definitely not the least.
God. God has been there for me through everything. For those of you who read the last post, a verse that has impacted my life tremendously is Psalm 77:19. "Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen." God is always right by your side, whether you see him or not. God not only loves your through your faults and trials, he is faithful through everything. You know there's people who love you regardless of what you do (like your parents) but there's always going to be a person who believes in you and stands right by you through everything-- God.
I turned away from God for a long time. I left Him in the dust and allowed myself to go where I felt I was okay. I let my head guide my actions instead of my heart. Once I realized that I was not going anywhere good with my life, I turned to the only person who could be there for me 24/7. I opened up my bible and just went through the Psalms. For those of you who aren't familiar with the bible, Psalms is a book of poems written in a dark time for the author. I could relate to a lot of them and it felt amazing. Some of the passages helped me see His faithfulness, how worthy I was of His love, and how He was always going to be with me.
He is there for you just as he has been there for me. Always.
