Sorry it's been so long since I've written, recruitment season has started up and it has gotten so crazy around my house! There are eight of us here and it is so fun but also chaos a lot of the time.
So, today, I'm going to be telling you about what I've read recently. I just finished House Rules by Jodi Picoult and absolutely loved it. I love suspense and have such a hard time putting the book down.
It's about a young adult, Jacob, and his family. Their town has a tragedy of a college student murder and Jacob is the main suspect. It is particularly tough because Jacob has asperger's so he can't communicate with people like he's supposed to. I really encourage you to read it because Picoult puts mystery, love, sadness, and excitement all in the right places.
I'm just on a Jodi Picoult kick so my next book to read (which I'm starting tonight) is Plain Truth. It is about a teenage girl in the Amish community who is being accused of killing her newborn baby. Not to mention, it is against the Amish rules to have premarital sex so if she is charged for it, she will most likely be exiled from the only world she's ever known. I cannot wait to start this!!
